Value Of Time Essay/ Composition;

Our life is a short existence of some moments which are ever fleeting. Shakespeare says that it is nothing but “a brief candle.” In fact, human life on earth is very short. But as the best creation of the Almighty, we have many things to do within this short span of life. We can regain our lost health and wealth. But time once gone, we never get back the lost time. So we must not spend a single moment in vain and always remember the wise saying :

“Time and tide wait for none.”

Time passes on very quickly. Nothing can stop it even for a moment. So, we should always keep alert and make the best use of our time. we must do our works at the right time. We must not put off any of our works for a future time. Our works will never be finished if we do not perform them just in time. To make our human life successful we must remember the immense value of time and do our responsibilities. An English poet reminds us of our duties:

“I slept and dreamt that life was a beauty
I woke and found that life was duty.”

Only the idle do not realize the value of time and pass away the time in fruitless activities. They make no attempt to do a work in proper time. They meet failure in life and suffer in the long run. They cannot even earn their own livelihood. They either pass their days in wants or depend upon others for their bread and butter. They are burdens not only to their family but also to their society or country. Everybody hates them. The value of time is important in the lives of the students as well. The students who make the best use of time and prepare themselves for the examinations do well in the examination. On the other hand, the students who do not realize the value of time and waste away their precious time can never reach the peak of success. So, it is very important for the students to realize the importance of priceless time. However, If we have a close look at the lives of all great men we notice that all of them were aware of the immense value of time. They always utilized every moment of their lives. So they came out successful and prospered in life. They are never in that group who, instead of utilizing time properly, urges time to wait for them:

“Time you old gipsy man
Will not you stay?
Put up your caravan.
Just for one day.”
